We’re back with our second instalment of SMOFCast.  Bringing you a bi weekly instalment of the only podcast that reminds you what its like at a convention while never leaving home.  In this episode we interview with author Robert J Sawyer where we talk with him about his writing and his other work in the field.  Randilin and Tamile also discuss some of the latest movies and video games.  They also introduce a new segment and have a good friend recall one of their favourite convention moments.



We are also pleased to announce a contest for a logo and mast head the website.  Please forward any entries or questions about the contest to smofcast@smofcast.com.  First place will receive a signed copy of Robert J Sawyer’s book 'Rollback'.  Which was a 2008 Aurora award nominated book in the category of Best long-work.  By submitting a piece of art you do grant SMOFCast permission to use the art.  Deadline for entries is July 15/08

Hi all

We just wanted to give everyone a quick update.  The second episode of SMOFCast is being worked on as we speak and should be posted some time this weekend June 14th  or 15th 2008.  In the mean time we wanted to let you know that we now have an e-mail address smofcast(at)smofcast.com and we have also made a facebook group that you can join as well. 

Last but not least we are in the process of adding the podcast to the various podcast lists on the internet

Welcome to SMOFCast

This is our first episode and it comes to you from Keycon 25 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  It is nightly updates of our experiences at the convention and thoughts about what we have seen and taken part in.  Then we end it off about a week later with an interview with the chairs of the convention.

We hope you enjoy the podcast and be sure to come back for future episodes.
